Content-by-content viewing experience
- Movies (Netflix HDR, Disney+ Hotstar): OLED wins decisively. The infinite contrast and per-pixel control deliver cinematic black levels that QLED genuinely cannot match. Watching Oppenheimer, Dune Part 2, or any HDR-mastered content on OLED feels like a different medium.
- Sports (cricket, IPL, football): QLED wins. The brighter peak luminance handles fast motion and bright stadium scenes better. Glare in afternoon viewing is less problematic with QLED's brightness reserve.
- Gaming (PS5, Xbox Series X): roughly equal at premium tier. Both offer 120Hz refresh rates, sub-10ms input lag, and HDMI 2.1 features. OLED has slight edge for darker games (horror, atmospheric titles); QLED has slight edge for bright competitive games (racing, sports games).
